Summer 2025 Recap!

Mothers Thriving in Business
We are thrilled to share that mothers who received financial support and training from OA are thriving in their businesses. Others currently enrolled in vocational programs, such as the textile training at Hope Enterprise, are gaining valuable skills that will help them build brighter futures for their families.

Theater Club’s Inspiring Outing
In August, members of the OA Theater Club enjoyed an unforgettable visit to the Ethiopian National Theater. From touring the compound and watching a live performance to exploring backstage rehearsals and learning about the theater’s rich history, the day was both educational and inspiring. The experience was capped with a joyful lunch together, leaving everyone energized and excited.

Five-Day Club Brings Joy & Truth
In partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship, we hosted a Five-Day Club at the OA Center, and it was a week full of joy, learning, and faith. Children engaged with God’s Word through Bible stories, songs, games, and memory verses—each day building on the next to strengthen their foundation of faith.

Jewelry-Making Workshop Launched
We launched an eight-day jewelry-making workshop for four recent graduates and four parents. To our delight, participants were able to make beautiful earrings after just half a day of training! This hands-on opportunity is sparking creativity and providing new avenues for income generation.

Home Visits for Student Growth
Our team also conducted home visits to meet with families and discuss students’ school performance, behavior, and overall development. These visits help us better understand each child’s needs and support their growth holistically.
